Suseenthiran’s Jeeva will see Soori as cricketer

Director Suseenthiran's next film Jeeva which is about cricket has comedian Soori playing the role of a cricketer. Actor Vishnu who is already an established cricketer will also be seen in the same role.

According to Mundasupatti actor, "Soori actually rose up to the occasion. He underwent rigorous cricket training for over three weeks to hone his batting and bowling skills. In fact, he was as good as any pace bowler after the training."

The real life cricketer who praises Soori’s efforts to do justice to the character, says, "During a couple of batting sessions, he even suffered a few blows. Luckily, he didn't get injured. He had to negotiate bouncers and he did them convincingly."
