Thirukumaran Believes Indian Locations Are More Beautiful

Director Thirukumaran’s Gethu will be released this Pongal. He believes that the locations in India are more beautiful than the locations abroad and has shot his film completely in the country. Thirukumaran also revealed that he likes to hunt for suitable locations and calls it a hobby.

The director stated, “All the songs and sequences in my upcoming film Gethu, which will release this Pongal, have been shot only in India. I feel that places here are more beautiful than the locations abroad. It is just that we don’t know they exist”. He added, “Another reason why I prefer to shoot in India and not abroad is because the audience can relate to a story if visuals are shot here”.

Thirukumaran likes to travel and explore new places. He revealed that he travelled all over the country to visit places that were associated with the Ramayana. The director is known for his film Maan Karate that came out in 2014. The movie had two aesthetically beautiful songs which were also shot in India.
