The music genre, Sufi, has been an all-time favourite in the Hindi film industry and now it’s time for the music category to make an entry into the Tamil film industry too. Anees-directed Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah is set to have a Sufi number filmed on the lead actor Jai along with a Sufi group from down South.

Director Anees said, "Kollywood, so far, has not explored Sufism in its music. These songs are soulful and I believe this is the first time that a Sufi number is being recorded in a straight Tamil film. We roped in Arif and his group, who have been practising this stream of music for generations, to record and shoot for the song. The number, which starts as Zam Zam, is in Urdu, and is about murshid, rituals in Islam and sings praise of Khwaja of Ajmer. We canned the sequence, which also featuresJai, in Hyderabad recently." He said further, "Arif and his group perform at a temple in Mylapore, where pooja rituals of all the three religions are held regularly." Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, a Tamil romance film, will also star Nazriya Nazim, Heebah Patel, Jamal and Dinesh G. The music of the film has been composed by M. Ghibran.
