This Is How Keerthy Bagged 'Thaana Serndha Kootam'

Keerthy Suresh is one of the most sought after actresses of Kollywood. The actress is all set to unite with Suriya for the upcoming Kollywood action-thriller film 'Thaana Serndha Kootam'. The film is being helmed under the direction of Vignesh Shivan.

Earlier it was rumoured that actress Nayanthara will be playing the female lead in the flick but we know who won the race. In a recent interview, Vignesh said that Keerthy was roped in for the role because they wanted a fresh face opposite Suriya. The female lead’s role in the film is of a middle class family.

The flick also stars Senthil, Ramya Krishnan, Karthik Kovai Sarala and Anandaraj in prominent roles. On a related note, the actress will be seen next in as female lead in Saamy 2, which is the sequel of Saamy opposite Vikram. The first look and second look posters were revealed on July 23 on the occassion of Suriya's birthday.
