This Why T Rajendar Rejected Anand’s Offer Before

Holla fans, filmmaker T. Rajendar is marking his comeback to the acting stage after a hiatus of seven years. Do you with which film he will be making his comeback? Well, the filmmaker has collaborated with Anand for his next which is titled Kavan. The film is produced under the banner AGS Entertainment and features Vijay Sethupathi. Interesting part is that the multitasker rejected Anand’s offer thrice and now he has finally come on board.

Revealing why he refused the KV’s offer, TR says, “I admire KV Anand for his cinematography as well as his distinct choice of scripts. He always believes that the subject of the film is the hero. His self-confidence amazes me. When he came to meet me, I was very hesitant and turned down the offer politely — not once but thrice. I am not a forthcoming person and I cannot mingle with everyone easily. But he wouldn’t budge. Finally, KV’s words touched me and I agreed. He promised me, saying, ‘I will give you full freedom and will see to it that the character is made and treated in such a way that it would never damage your real-life image.’”

Whereas Sethupathi also agreed that he fanboys TR and was literally waiting for him to start shooting for the film. Lauding him further, Anand says that TR’s energy levels inspire him. He extemporizes on the sets, but abides his captain’s decision. Kavan will be one of the most crucial films in his career.
