Title Issue of ‘Kabali’ Solved

A Mysore-based producer named Sivakumar planned to release a movie with the same name ‘Kabali’. The name ‘Kabali’ was selected first by Pa. Ranjith for Rajinikanth's movie. This led to a title conflict between the two. It was being heavily rumoured whether who will be finalising the title.

But, finally the title has been retained by Pa. Ranjith for superstar Rajinikanth’s movie. The director has got the permission from South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, the Film Producers Council, and the Guild. The first look of the film will be released on September 17.

The movie is being made under the direction of Pa. Ranjith. The upcoming movie will feature superstar Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte in lead roles. According to the information from a source from the film, Rajinikanth will be seen playing a character called Kabaleeshwaran. The story is based on a don from Mylapore in Chennai.
