Upasana Iyer Will Play Gautham Karthik’s Sister In Rangoon

Upasana Iyer, who was seen in a brief role in Kavalai Vendam, will next be seen in Rangoon which has Gautham Karthik in the lead. The actress will be seen playing the role of Karthink’s sister. Actress Sana Makbul will be playing the female lead.

Upasana says that since she is a very bubbly girl in real life, therefore she found it very challenging to play an emotional person in the flick. She also said that there are many scenes in the movie where she had to cry. “The director insisted that I should get into the skin of the character and play the part. So, I was not even allowed to use glycerine while enacting an emotional scene,” she said.

She added, “This is a crucial role and I have no experience in playing such a prominent character. So, I spent a lot of time rehearsing for my scenes ahead of my shoots. It actually helped to perform well on the set." However, Upasana is not ready to make acting her profession. She says that she will only do films if she finds script interesting.
