Vaalu Crosses Legal Troubles, to Release on July 31?

It seems that respite has finally knocked the door of Vaalu’s makers. Apparently, the upcoming Tamil action comedy has sorted out all its financial issues. According to sources, the cases filed against the movie have been taken back. The movie has also received a final release date of July 31, tweeted an entertainment industry tracker.

The producers of Vaalu were amidst a legal hassle in September 2012 with the makers of a different film who claimed that the title was already registered by them in 2008. In 2013, the cinematographer Shakthi also claimed that he was not given due credit in the posters. After several legal tussles and issues, the filmmakers are finally moving on with the film.

Vaalu is written and directed by Vijayachander. It will star Silambarasan who will be returning to the big screen after approximately three years. Silambarasan’s last film in Tamil was Podaa Podi. Hansika Motwani will be the female lead in the film.
