Vaalu gets its release date

The release date of much awaited comedy flick Vaalu has finally been confirmed. Silambarasan starrer Vaalu is all set to hit theatres on August 15. The film will also feature actress Hansika Motwani in lead role.

Vijay Chander, who is making his directorial debut with this film, is excited about the mass climax song which portrays Simbu in three different avatars. The film also has Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Naren and Sri Ranjani in supporting roles. The shooting is almost complete and the post production works have been started. Simbu posted on his micro-blogging page, "Lot of super happy news on the way for fans :) including #Vaalu release date #INA first look teaser #loveanthem New projects and more ...." The movie is ready to compete with Surya starrer Anjaan which is expected to release on the same day. With two big movies on platter, audience will definitely have something special to watch on this Independence Day.
