Varalaxmi Jumps Into Vikram-Veda Fold

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has signed in for Pushkar-Gayatri's Vikram-Veda. The star who previously appeared in Bala's Thaarai Thappattai and Shraddha Srinath as a lead will now be seen working with Kathir. The lead roles were recently announced to be played by Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.

"Varalaxmi will have a complete makeover in this film. The movie is an action-thriller and is set against the backdrop of north Madras", said a source. She would appear opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the flick, where he would play a gangster.

On the other side Shraddha will be the girl for Madhavan, who plays a cop. Moreover, the team is all excited about the project and theses two powerful stars of Kollywood will have lot to offer with this movie. The director duo has been busy doing recce for the locations everywhere in order to make the movie more authentic.
