Varalaxmi Signs Ammayi

Starring in musical action drama Thara Thappattai, actress Varalaxmi earned herself huge recognition with her acting prowess at the beginning of the year. However, the actress is in no mood to take a break. The star actress has signed her next, Ammayi for debutante director Shankar.

The flick is said to be a horror movie, where Vara will portray a pivotal character. She took on to her twitter to make the announcement of her forthcoming flick. "Excited to strt my nxt venture with a debutant dir Shankar..it gonna be my first horror flick. Let the scaring begin".  

Presently, Varalaxmi is on Arun Vaidyanathan's flick and has a Malayalam film Kasaba in her bag. She made her entry in the industry with Podaa Podi opposite star Simbu. The movie was made by Vignesh Shivan and produced under the banner of Gemini Film Circuit.
