Southern heartthrob Dhanush is facing a not-so-pleasant time, though his latest release Velai Illa Pattadhari is a box-office blockbuster. One certain poster of the film depicted the actor smoking but it didn’t comply with the Tobacco Control Board regulations. Hence it needs to be removed.

Dhanush-Amala Paul starrer Velai Illa Pattadhari received immense positive response from the audience’s end. The official body of Velai Illa Pattadhari complained about the poster and asked to get it torn. The film has also been produced by the actor under the banner of his Wunderbar Films. He agreed to follow this order and ensured that this poster should be removed as soon as possible. The film is also in the pipeline to get remade in Hindi soon.
