'Vijay Is A Big Fan Of Ajith', Says Actor Dhamu

Ajith and Vijay’s long-sustained rivalry has not been hidden from anyone in Kollywood. Thalapathi started his career with his father SA Chandrasekar-directed ‘Naalaya Theerpu’ (1992) while Thala debuted in Selva’s ‘Amaravathi’ (1993). There are lots of similarities in the career graphs of the two.

Recently, actor Dhamu, who has shared the screen space with Ajith and Vijay many times, revealed that the latter admires the former a lot. “Vijay is a big fan of Ajith. Once, he even had a song from Billa as his dial tone”, Dhamu revealed in an interview.

The actor also touched upon how Vijay felt when Ajith couldn’t act alongside him in ‘Nerukku Ner’. “Ajith sir had some date issues and had to back out from the project. Vijay felt bad that he couldn’t make it, but he was also happy later because it introduced a brilliant actor Suriya to the industry”, Dhamu revealed.
