Vijay Sethupathi to Play a Cop Again

Soodhu Kavvum star Vijay Sethupathi was previously seen as a fake cop for a song in the film. This time the actor will put on the khaki for real as he plays the leading role of a cop in his upcoming film. It is tentatively titled Ka.Sethupathi.

According to sources close to the director, Vijay will be playing an honest cop. Playing the role of a cop has boosted almost every actor’s career. Whether it will do the same for Vijay is yet to be seen. The film will be directed by Arun Kumar.

Vijay is known for his role in films like Orange Muttai, Evil Engulfs, Rummy and Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai. Director Arun Kumar is an editor, producer, director and has predominantly been involved in Malayalam Cinema. He is known for his films 1 by Two, Left Right Left, In Recent Times and Cocktail.
