Vijay Sethupathi To Don Three Different Looks In Seethakathi

Ever since Vijay Sethupathi ’s next movie Seethakathi has been announced, fans are curious to know about his role in the flick. But, now we have learnt that the actor will be essaying the character Ayya, who is an actor and a stage performer. An important feature about the film is that Sethupathi will be seen playing three different age groups in the film, 75, 50 and 30-year-old.

"The 75-year-old character that Vijay will be playing is the lead character and what happens in his life forms the story. To make him look like a 75-year-old, the team will be flying to Los Angeles to meet the well-known makeup artiste, Greg Cannon. Greg has won three Academy Awards for the movies Mrs. Doubtfire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Bram Stoker's Dracula,” revealed a source.

Even though Viswanath Sundaram has finalised Vijay’s look, however, the team wants him to wear prosthetics too. Greg has earlier worked in Bollywood films such as Fan and Kapoor And Sons, where he created Shah Rukh Khan and Rishi Kapoor ’s look. Seethakathi directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan will be Vijay’s 25th movie. Both Balaji and Vijay have previously worked together in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.
