Vikram’s Son Turns Director With First Short Film

Iru Mugan actor Vikram’s son Dhruv has released his first short film titled ‘Goodnight Charlie’ on YouTube. While there has been a lot of speculations around his debut in the industry, it took people by surprise when he entered Kollywood with a directorial project and not an acting part. The short film is being touted as a strong thriller.

The movie focuses on the subject of child abuse. If rumours are to be believed, Dhruv will be making his acting debut in Shankar’s next film. Dhruv sure has a lot to look forward to.

On the other hand, Vikram, who is now a proud father of a first time director, is enjoying the success of ‘Iru Mugan’. The movie, directed by Anand Shankar, has become the third biggest hit of the year following Vijay's 'Theri' and Rajinikanth's 'Kabali'. ‘Iru Mugan’ stars Nayatara, Nithya Menen and Nassar, along with Vikram. Harris Jayaraj has directed the music in the film.
