Vimal, Lakshmi Menon pair up for Manja Pai

ThePasangastar, Vimal, who received the Vijay Award as the best debut actor for the same, is running high on the filmmakers’ list as he has bagged another major projectManja Pai. Besides the eight films in his kitty, which are slated to be released this year, he will be seen in this new film oppositeSundarapandianactress Lakshmi Menon.

A source has revealed, "The film went on floors recently, and the team is shooting for a few important sequences now. It's a romantic action entertainer, and is being directed by Naveen Raghavan. He has assisted Sarkunam (ofKalavaniandVaagai Sooda Vaafame) in his previous ventures."

The source also added, "Lakshmi Menon, who is best remembered for her performances inKumkiandSundarapandian, is paired opposite Vimal in the film. She has a gutsy role and will be seen in a new avatar in this. Rajkiran will also be playing an important role. Ghibran has already started composing the score for this flick."
