VZ Dhorai’s Upcoming Movie Amaalee To Have A ‘Break Up Song’

The ‘Break Up song’ from the Hindi movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ became a quite sensation. The song featured Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor with Anushka singing it after she breaks up with her boyfriend. After the song was released, people were seen humming and grooving on the song.

Well, people now something similar you will get to see in director VZ Dhorai’s upcoming film Amaalee. Yes, the director has planned to come up with a break up song in the movie which would feature the film’s leading lady. She would be singing the song after she gets ditched by her boyfriend.

Talking about the song, VZ Dhorai said, “The lyrics of the girls break up song was written by me and we will be shooting next week. This concept is new to the Tamil industry and the whole setting will be in black and red shade. Amaalee also has the typical break up song for guys and we shot it using a black and black concept. A set worth `40 lakhs was erected and it was lit up with white light to provide the contrast.”

The flick will feature Samuthirakani, Shyam, Athulya Ravi and Divya in lead roles. The team will resume shooting on July 18.
