When hero gets experimental with Zero

Mankatha actor Ashwin Kakumanu is all set to show off his versatility by signing a supernatural thriller this time. The paranormal film titled Zero would also feature Shivada Nair in the lead role. Shivada was the same lively girl who debuted with N. Krishna’s Nedunchaalai and apparently, Arun-directed Zero is going to beShivada’s second film.

Talking about his forthcoming film, a delighted Ashwin says, "I play a social worker in the film and what happens to the hero and heroine forms the crux. It is not a conventional script and that is what I really liked about the film. Unlike commercial subjects, the story-telling format is different. When I look back, I will be proud of doing this film."The makeup in the film is quite interesting. I am looking forward for this one," he adds.

According to the grapevine, Ashwin has also signed a film with debutant filmmaker Manivarma. The film is said to be launched next month. However, the actor has not revealed much about the venture. "It is too early to talk about the project. But the script is different from the ones I've done before," says Ashwin.
