Akhil Akkineni can be the next big thing for the entertainment industry after all he is young and talented and has famous parents. However, the year didn’t start well for Akhil Akkineni. Firstly, it was the announcement of his engagement to childhood sweetheart Shriya Bhoopal being called off and then the troubles that are surrounding his second project under the direction of Vikram K Kumar. The director has written a love story for Akhil but Nagarjuna asked him to make amendments in the story and it was later made a fantasy story.

The last we heard about the project was that the movie has been stopped as of now as the makers are unable to zero in on any leading lady for the project. The movie has been stopped till the team finds a perfect actress for the role in the film. The latest in the front is that a newcomer might be roped in for the project opposite Akhil.

As per Nagarjuna, "We are looking at 4-5 options, but we haven't taken a final call yet. It's going to be a newcomer". Well, fans are waiting with bated breaths to see who is finally paired with the young star. Touted to be a youthful love story, the untitled flick will be helmed by Vikram Kumar and will be bankrolled by Akhil’s father Nagarjuna. Tollywood actor Ajay will pull off a grey character in the flick.
