Akhil Akkineni’s debut film officially gets launched

After having kept the audiences waiting for a long long time, Akhil Akkineni’s debut film has officially been launched. The first shot was taken in the presence of close friends and family, Akhil himself confirmed it on twitter.

The much awaited project was confirmed to be launched when Akhil tweeted, “Good morning my dear friends, without anymore delay! On this lovely morning I would like announce that my debut film is on the go, With none other than V.V.VINAYAK ! Just got done with a small informal Pooja with close family and friends. Sorry for the long delay guys,” he wrote. The still untitled film will be directed by V.V. Vinayak and will be produced by actor Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy who happens to be Akhil’s father.

The film is going to be a romantic affair with fair bit of action. Confirmed by a source close to the shape up who said, “The film would be a romantic entertainer with an adventurous backdrop.” While Vinayak’s mother’s unfortunate demise put things on hold for a while, the project is now up and running and is expected to hit the screens in the later part of 2015.
