Amitabh Bacchan Chose Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ Over Balakrishna’s ‘Rythu’

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to be a part of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. Big B, who was approached for playing a role in the movie said yes to the film. This has been confirmed at the recent launch of the film’s motion poster. However, Balakrishna also approached the Kaun Banega Crorepati host for doing a film but unfortunately refused the offer.

If reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan is unhappy with the script of the film, which might have been the reason for his rejection. Recently Balayya revealed in an interview that he shares a good bond with Chiranjeevi. It has also been heard that Balakrishna had approached Amitabh first for his film ‘Rythu’ when he was shooting for ‘Sarkar 3’ in Mumbai but later accepted Chiranjeevi’s film.

Further, ‘Rythu’ will be directed by Krishna Vamsi. Rumours are on air that the superstar did not like Balakrishna's script. However, the superstar will be seen in a pivotal role in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, directed by Surendar Reddy. Further, Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman will be composing the music for it.
