Angamaly Diaries To Be Made In Telugu

Malayalam film Angamaly Diaries emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year. The crime drama flick, which released on March 3 this year, was helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and bankrolled by Vijay Babu under Friday Film House. The flick was critically acclaimed and featured 86 debutant actors.

The latest in the front is that the flick will now be made in Telugu. The flick will star actor Vishwak Sen as the male lead in the Telugu remake of the flick. Sen also played the lead in Vellipomakey. However, hunt is on for a director to helm the project.

As per Vishwak, “The film is being adapted to suit the Telugu sensibilities. It will be completely rooted in Hyderabad, and will show the gangster culture of the city. It will be something new”. The flick will cast nearly 80 new actors and auditions for the same are on.
