Anu Emmanuel To Star In Raj Tarun's Next

Gorgeous actress Anu Emmanuel seems to be on the top of the list of directors seeking fresh faces. The actress, who debuted as the female lead in Abrid Shine’s ‘Action Hero Biju’ opposite Nivin Pauly, is set to be seen with Raj Tarun in Dongaata director Vamsi Krishna’s upcoming project. The actress has already signed Gopichand's ‘Oxygen’, which will be directed by Jyothi Krishna, and Nani's next with director Virinchi Varma.

Talking about Anu’s role in Raj’s next, a source stated, “The film is a romantic comedy where the heroine will have a key role. Several names had been in consideration but Anu is definitely the top choice. Malayali actresses are definitely the first choice for Telugu filmmakers as they bring in some freshness to the roles they play. And Anu is one of the favourites now. She has been approached for quite a few films”.

The movie is likely to be a crime comedy. The director narrated the story to Raj during the time of ‘Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’, which was helmed by G. Nageswara Reddy. Impressed by his part and film in total, the actor gave a nod to the flick.
