Anupama Parameshwaran Roped In For Nani, Merlapaka Gandhi Collaboration

Director Merlapaka Gandhi will next be collaborating with Nani for a film which will go on floors soon. It has been reported that Anupama Parameshwaran has been roped in as the female lead. Apparently, Merlapaka and Nani were quite impressed by her performance in her earlier films.

A source stated that the role required a performer and since Anupama has showed her worth, the filmmakers brought her on board. “The role needs a performer, hence they picked Anupama. It’s also a changeover for the actress as she has only played only traditional roles in Telugu films till now”, the source stated.

The fist schedule for Merlapaka Gandhi’s film will take place in Europe and the team is expected to leave soon. Anupama is currently working on ‘Unnadi Okate Zindagi’ where she shares screen space with Ram Pothineni. According to sources, the actress is in demand and is getting offers from both Tollywood and Kollywood.
