Anushka Shetty zeroing on female oriented roles, signs another periodic

Southern actress Anushka Shetty, 32, is focussing on doing female oriented roles these days. The star already has films like Rudhramadevi and Baahubali in her kitty. And now, she has reportedly signed one more periodic film, called Bhagmati. The flick will be directed by Pilla Zamindar fame G. Ashok.

The beauty will be playing the role of a Hindu wife of Muslim sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth king of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty ruled over the Golkonda region in the 16th century. The actress will be enacting the title role in the movie. The film will be a joint production of Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations which is to start in April 2014.
