Attarintiki Daredi pushed back again due to Telangana issue

Pawan Kalyan's much anticipated Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi is postponed again. The film scheduled to release on August 9 has to move forward in its release date. The reason told to the media by the film’s spokesperson is, "Due to the ongoing agitation over the Telangana issue, we have decided to postpone the film to a new date. We haven't zeroed in on the new release date yet. Once finalised, we will officially announce the release date."

Actually the film casts Pawan Kalyanin the lead role, who is the younger brother of Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi. People's movement group i.e. members of Samaikyandhra are unhappy with the decision of the minister who has approved the formation of a separate state Telangana. Now, they have threatened that film of any of Chiranjeevi’s family members will not be released and if released, they will boycott it.

After getting these threats, the film’s producer BVSN decided to drop the idea of releasing flick on August 9, “Though we initially thought that we would go ahead with 9th August, we decided now to wait for a better time to ensure better circumstances of viewing for the fans.” Along with Pawan, Attarintiki Daredi casts Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Praneetha and Brahmanadamin the main roles. We hope that the film over comes the hovering black clouds and release successfully in all the states.
