Billa 2 to be released with A-certificate

Shunning aside the rumours that some scenes of Billa 2 are being re-shot to get a U/A certificate, director of the film Chakri Toleti has clarified that the movie will be released with an A certification. Earlier reports had come that the Ajith Kumar starrer gangster saga, which is a prequel to the 2007 Tamil blockbuster Billa, will undergo almost 40 cuts to get a U/A certificate from the censor board. It was also rumoured that many scenes will be re-shot to get an A-certificate. However, the noted director snubbed all such rumours, saying the movie will be released with an A certification and he has no plans for re-shooting the film. But, he accepted that the satellite rights of the film might go for a U/A so that everyone can watch the film. Toleti also refused to give any release date for the much-awaited film.
