C Kalyan Producing Vinayak And Vaitla

After the disastrous releases of Bruce Lee and Akhil, directors Srinu Vaitla and VV Vinayak will be turning to producer C Kalyan for their next projects. Kalyan stated, “I am prepping up to produce a film with VV Vinayak and Srinu Vaitla soon. I will divulge the details about these projects shortly”.

VV Vinayak’s Akhil fared quite poorly at the box office, pooling in only Rs. 17 crore. The movie had Akhil Akkineni and Sayesha Saigal in leading roles. The cast also included Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, along with others. On the other hand, Srinu Vaitla’s Bruce Lee earned Rs. 40 crore but fell short of what was expected. The movie starred Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in leading roles.

Producer C Kalyan’s next project Loafer will soon be released on December 17. The movie is directed by Puri Jagannadh and stars Varun Tej as the leading actor. Loafer had an audio release on the weekend which was well received by the audience.
