Catherine Tresa attracting filmmakers to rope her in

Model-turned actress Catherine Tresa made her debut in Tollywood last year with Chammak Challo. After making a smashing entry into the industry, the actress appeared in Iddarammayilatho. It is being reported that post her work in the two flicks, Tresa has been approached by lot many filmmakers to act in their films.

A source said, “Catherine has been approached for several big budget Telugu films. But she turned them down. It's not because she is choosy, the offers just did not excite her as an actress. She wants to prove her mettle as a performer and not just a glam doll.” It is also being reported that the sultry star has turned down quite a few roles as well since she didn’t find the characters offered that good.

At present, the 23-year-old starlet is busy in shooting for Kaali, Kanithan and Rudhramadevi. It appears that Catherine is interested in doing meaningful cinema. She will be working with some big directors of the fraternity in her upcoming movies; Gunasekhar and T.N. Santhosh are the few to be named.
