Dhanush’s Directorial Debut Will Star Rajkiran

The versatile actor, Dhanush, is all set to add a new feather to his cap. According to the latest reports, the 33-year-old star is all set to makes his debut as a director. Dhanush will helm ‘Power Paandi’ which will star Rajkiran as the male lead actor.

Coincidently, Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, also made his directorial debut with Rajkiran, with the hit film, ‘En Rasavin Manasile’. A source close to Dhanush confirms, “Yes, Dhanush will be making his directorial debut with Rajkiran in the lead. Since his father had also made his directorial debut with the same actor, it is quite an emotional moment for the family. Another interesting bit about the film is that this will be Rajkiran’s 25th year in the film industry. So, the team is very excited.”

The source further reveals that, “It will be a fun and adventurous film. Prasanna has been roped in to play Rajkiran’s son. He has an offbeat role, too. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.” Reportedly, ‘Power Paandi’ will hit the floors today, September 7, in Chennai.
