Down and out Anushka stands tall during shoot

-- A few days ago, movie-buffs must have come across a picture ofAnushka Shetty in which the actress was seen offering a piece of cake to filmmaker Gunasekhar with her right wrist wrapped in bandage. The picture was shared by Gunasekhar himself, following which everyone became curious to know what has happened to the beautiful actress. Well, according to the leaked reports, actress Anushka apparently suffered a hairline fracture while shooting for the climax episode of the period drama Rudramadevi.

"It's a gruelling war sequence that was shot for 40 days. Anushka suffered a hairline fracture on her wrist due to the sword fight sequences around the 30th day. The doctors advised her to take a break and Gunasekhar offered to complete the rest of the shoot using a body double. Anushka, however, refused to use a body double and continued to shoot regardless, to wrap up the film's shoot," an insider says.

"She shot with five rolls of skin-coloured bandage on her wrist and took pain-killer injections to complete the shoot on time. Her commitment has left the whole film unit in awe," adds the insider. This indeed shows the Anushka’s dedication and sincerity. The poor girl kept her commitment and finished the shoot despite severe pain.
