Elli AvrRam Is Loving Kannada As She Shoots For Remake Of Queen

Kannada and Tamil filmmakers are making a remake of Queen and are currently in Paris. Elli AvRam joined them this week and is very excited for the shoot. Elli will be playing the role played by Lisa Haydon in the Hindi film.

Elli has started with her dialogues and said, "I am in love with South Indian languages. They sound very nice. Kannada, in particular, has a very exotic ring to it. While it is Indian, the way it sounds, it feels European. What was encouraging was the fact that the team complimented my pronunciation of Kannada and said that I sound like just another Bengaluru girl."

Talking about how she was selected for the film, she remembered, "I was approached by the team and I met them as soon as I got to Mumbai, where they came to meet me. During the meeting, I also got to rehearse one of the scenes with Parul Yadav, which had them convinced that I could pull this off."

Over her role Elli said that the role is carefree, bold and a lot of fun, something unlike anything else she had done in films.
