Hamsanandini to play an important role in Gopichand's next

After shaking a leg in Koratala Siva’s Mirchi and comedy drama Attarintiki Daredi, actress Hamsanandini who is also part of Gunasekhar's Rudramadevi has been signed for an important role in Gopichand's yet to be titled project.

"This is the first time I am experimenting with comedy and I am excited about how things are shaping up. All I can say is that my role has a surprise element," the actress says, adding, "I was totally into my character as a warrior princess, who is also poised and clever. So, it was difficult to disassociate myself from all that and play the role of a woman who thinks she's too intelligent when she clearly isn't. It's a fabulous team to work with and Gopichand is totally chilled out." Talking about her ventures, she confesses, "I am happy in my own space and I don't want the audience to get bored of me. I am not going to take a break from the sort of special songs and roles I keep doing. I think they have given me an identity."
