I Am A Big Fan Of Samantha Ever Since Ye Maya Chesave: Nagarjuna

Tollywood recently saw a fairytale wedding when Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot. The star and his daughter-in-law Samantha recently shared screen space when they decided to work together in Raju Gaari Gadhi 2. The flick released yesterday on October 12.

At a press conference ahead of the release, Nagarjuna explained why the film is special. He said, “This film is special because Samantha has come home as a daughter-in-law. This is the first release after she got married to my son. We see each other at home every day, so it’s important to us that this film is a hit. It will be an awkward situation if it is a flop”. Well, he said this in a joking way.

The star also praised his daughter-in-law and said that he is a big fan of her. He added, “I am a big fan of Samantha ever since Ye Maya Chesave. Back then I had even sent her a message appreciating her performance. I wouldn’t want to call this her best performance because I am still waiting to see her best in the future”. On a related note, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ was the film that brought Chaitanya and Samantha closer.
