I Am Really Tense: Sampath Nandi On Goutham Nanda

As Gopichand’s Gautham Nanda is releasing today, director Sampath Nandi is anxious about its results. Even though he is confident that the flick will fare well at the box-office, he is nervous about it. In a recent interview, the filmmaker confessed that he is nervous for the first time about the flick.

He said, “With both the earlier films, I was confident that they were commercial films and would work. But this time, I have tried something new within the commercial parameters, and that’s making me a wee bit tensed. I am excited too. But really tense”.

The movie is different from Sampath’s other movies as he wanted to try his hands at something different. On this he added, “I wanted to work on something content-based. And that’s one reason I really gave my all. The amount of research I did to get things right for this film is phenomenal. Within our budget limitations, we even got Gopichand to try adventure sports. This film is really close to my heart”.

Bankrolled by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao under Sri Balaji Cine Media Banner, the film also stars Hansika Motwani, Catherine Tresa in the lead roles.
