I Want To Be Associated With Unique Films: Rana Daggubati

Rana Daggubati has carved a niche for himself in the Indian cinema industry. Basking in the glory of blockbuster flick Baahubali, the actor is now all over, literally. He is doing Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood flicks with meaty roles.  In a recent interview, the actor said that he wants to link himself with unique films.

He has done many content driven films with supporting roles. When asked if he follows a strategy for this, he said, “It isn’t a strategy. What fascinates me is a story in itself. I always want to be part of good cinema. Before showbiz, I was into VFX and other businesses, but it wasn’t giving me anything. I took a break and then debuted with Leader. Ever since, I have been looking for versatility, and the learning curve is phenomenal”!

When asked if he is skeptical about playing the lead in any flick, he said, “I want to be associated with unique films. I only believe in the potentiality of script. Ghazi was widely appreciated because of that uniqueness”. The actor will be next seen in Teja’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri which is scheduled for a release on August 11.
