Kamal Haasan to endorse brands for the first time

Legendary superstar Kamal Haasan has decided to take up brand endorsementsfor the first time in his 50-year career. As part of the plan, the actor, 57, has teamed up with AllianceMedia and Entertainment Private Ltd, a firm that has been associated with some of the biggestcelebrities of India, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and JayaBachchan. "Kamal Haasan is a truly global Indian icon -- a great actor, writer and film maker, who isimmensely respected not only for his strong contribution to cinema, but also for his significant initiativesto help the underprivileged," Sunil Doshi, Founder and MD, Alliance Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltdsaid in a statement. "We shall soon announce which brand Kamal Haasan will be endorsing. He is knownfor his ideals and principles, and needless to say, we shall advise him to pick a brand that fits with hisvalues and stature, and will have a campaign to match," he added.
