Karthi, Nagarjuna Starrer Film Renamed as Mithrulu

Reportedly, the Telugu remake of French film The Intouchables, has been given a new title. Earlier, the speculated title of the film was Dosth. Now as per the latest reports, the film is now titled Mithrulu.

The film has Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamannaah in lead roles. It is said that Shruti Haasan is also playing a pivotal role in the film. In January, a source told Bollywood life, “Karthi will be essaying the role of a caregiver. Nagarjuna will portray the role of a quadriplegic patient. The director has been making changes to the original, adding elements that will appeal to the regional audience”.

Vamsi Paidipally is going to direct this bilingual movie. The movie will be produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner of PVP Cinemas. The music of the film is given by Gopi Sunder, who is popular for his work in Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju.
