Karthik’s First Two Films Have Made Him More Confident

Karthik Raju seems to be on a roll after returning from his year-long hiatus. According to reports, the actor has signed two new projects. Even though Karthik’s first two films did not perform as expected at the box office, they helped him in becoming more confident.

Talking about one of his films, the actor revealed that it will be a “different love story” with a fresh take on the genre. His father, who is a popular film distributor in Vishakhapatnam, also read the script and gave Karthik the go ahead. The actor spoke about the year-long break and said, “In this hiatus, I focused on my acting skills, and my dialogue delivery. I am also working on my expressions too, apart from workouts. This time I am more confident as we have worked hard on the script”.

His new flick is being directed by debutant Poornanand, who has previously worked with director P. Vasu. Karthik feels that Poornanand has plenty of experience and hopes that this film will be his big break. The actor has also signed another project, details about which are currently unavailable.
