Lavanya Talks About Her Role In 'Project Z'

CV Kumar is Kollywood’s film producer and distributor who heads the production studio Thirukumaran Entertainment . The bankroller is all set to make his directorial debut with Tamil venture 'Maayavan'. The film is dubbed in Telugu and has been named 'Project Z'.

The flick, that stars Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles, is all set to release on December 14. C. V. Kumar began working on his first directorial project in June 2014, but it got delayed to due to many reasons. The much-delayed crime thriller is finally ready.

Lavanya plays the role of a psychiatrist in the film. Her character will help Sundeep Kishan’s character, who is a cop, in tracking down a murderer. To prepare for the film, the actress watched several crime documentaries. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff plays the role of an antagonist in the project. Actors such as Daniel Balaji, Jayaprakash, Mime Gopi, Baghavathi Perumal and Akshara Gowda are also in the film in pivotal roles.
