Senior advocate A Natarajan who fought the case for Ramesh, reported, "Earlier, Muthulakshmi, wife of the late Veerappan, on whom the film is based on, had raised objections against few scenes in the film. But every scene in the movie was based on actual records, documents and FIRs. Once these documents come on public domain, no one can object to it and claim it personal."

"Mr Ramesh has not even included songs or dances in the movie that deviates from the real story. This film is based only on facts, right from scene one. There are no scenes in the movie that affect Muthulakshmi or her late husband Veerappan. The Court has now allowed the movie to be released and all problems pertaining to the film have been solved," he added more.
