Mani Ratnam's project very much on : Mahesh Babu

Action hero Mahesh Babu has confirmed that he is still a part of Mani Ratnam’s untitled project. He further said that he would start the shooting as soon as the dates are finalized. The film, which is supposed to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, also features former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai and Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead roles.

"Mani Ratnam project is very much on. Since I'm busy with multiple projects, my dates are being work out. There will be more clarity on this project when the official announcement will be made," said Mahesh Babu who is currently working on Aagadu. Hence, if all goes well, actor Mahesh Babu would be seen sharing the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna for the first time. Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has previously worked with Akkineni Nagarjuna in Telugu dramaGeethanjali. He has also worked with Aishwarya Rai in Iruvar, Guru and Raavan. Aishwarya would thus, be collaborating with Mani Ratnam for the fourth time. However, this would be Mani’s first venture with Mahesh Babu. With an outstanding director and three influential actors, we can definitely expect something special would be served on platter !
