Mehreen Signs Lead Role Opposite Varun Tej

Budding actress Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is on a roll. Making her acting debut with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, the actress landed herself a crucial role in Bollywood upcoming flick, Phillauri alongside Anushka Sharma and is now set to make another Telugu flick. Reportedly, it will be for director Venky Atluri’s next.

“Mehreen really likes the work Varun does as he chooses interesting scripts. The prospect of working with him seemed really exciting to her. Luckily, her role is very interesting too and she couldn’t say no. It is the perfect project for her and she really wants to be a part of it. If things work out well, an official announcement will be made soon,” revealed a source.

Interestingly, the Mehreen has couple of projects in pipeline opposite Ravi Teja and Sharwanand. The actress was lauded for her acting skills in Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, where she played love interest of Nani.
