    ‘My Dad Has Been My Role Model’, Says Mahesh Babu

    The superstar of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu, recently recalled his memories of childhood days and gave all credit of his success to his father, Krishna. “My dad has been my role model, guru and guide all rolled into one. Despite being a superstar, he made sure we had a normal upbringing shielded form all the glitz and glamour in Chennai. I owe my acting career also to him”, said the 39 year-old actor.

    Talking about his childhood days, the actor said, “I was in high school, when my dad got me to act in a movie during my summer vacations. It became a hit and I went on to act in a bunch of films every summer holidays and thus became a popular child artiste. Then he called me one day and told me to complete my education before getting back into acting full time. He was the best; he laid it all out for me”.

    Recalling about the best moment in his life, he said, “The best part in Dad is that he let me figure things out on my own. He gave freedom to me to test waters. At the same time, whenever I needed him, he is there."
