Nandamuri Balakrishna: I want to concentrate on films

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who predominantly works in the Telugu film Industry has been into politics for several years.  Balakrishna was elected from Hindupur constituency as the Member of Legislative Assembly in 2014. Being a political worker the actor has a very strict schedule, however, in spite of that, he has accepted many films that come his way.

Recently the actor revealed that he mainly focuses on films and is not aspiring for any higher political posts. He said, “My father earlier represented Hindupur, and so I want to develop the constituency. I have rectified a few problems and there is a lot more to do. I want to concentrate on that and serve the party when needed. I am not keen on higher posts of a minister or chief minister as I want to concentrate on films”.

Moreover, the actor further said that he agreed to do more films as many people’s livelihood is dependent on the industry. He is the son of three-time former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. At the work front, the actor is currently shooting for his next film, which is a K.S. Ravikumar directorial.
