Rana Daggubati’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is all set to hit the theatres on August 11. The makers recently released the trailer of the flick and it was an instant hit. The Ghazi Attack actor will be seen playing the role of a politician in his upcoming film.

As per the latest hearsay, Rana chose MGR’s Enga Veetu Pillai song as his title. ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is inspired from MGR’s Enga Veetu Pillai. ‘Enga Veetu Pillai’ is the remake of ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’, which was the first movie Bankrolled by Rana’s grandfather D Rama Naidu in 1964.

Talking about this, Rana said, “It’s very special for me as it brings memories of two of the greatest icons of the film industry who continue to inspire me”. The film that stars Rana Daggubati and Kajal Agarwal in the lead pair has been set up under a political backdrop. Actress Catherine Tresa also plays a key role in the film.
