“Pawan has been asked to undergo a surgery, after which, he would need 3-4 weeks of complete bed rest to recuperate. That would mean he has to put his current commitments on hold. So. he has been postponing the surgery and working, while taking pain killers," informs a source, close to the actor.

"Pawan comes to the sets with a lot of liveliness but his persistent backache is proving to be a dampener. He has shot for around a week for Gopala Gopala, and he has around 10 days of shoot left. Pawan wants to wrap up the film as early as possible before commencing his next project. He is planning to go for a surgery after finishing the movie and before taking up another project. Or he may go for it in the summer next year after he wraps up his filmi projects," the source further added.
