Piracy Takes Its Toll On Allu Arjun Starrer 'DJ'

Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun starrer ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ released in the theatres on June 23, 2017. The movie has been receiving mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. It is sad to know that piracy has taken its toll again.

The movie was allegedly leaked online after the day it was released. This will definitely have an impact on the movie’s worldwide box office collection. In spite of this, the movie has successfully achieved a new milestone making a record by raking in a worldwide box office collection amounting to around Rupees 70 crore. It could have reached new heights if the movie was not leaked online.

The makers of the movie have stated that they will be taking legal action against the culprits. The producer of ‘DJ’, Dil Raju posted a tweet on his Twitter handle, "Please refrain from uploading pirated copies of #DJ on any digital platform. Criminal cases will be filed with the Police on all offenders". The director of the movie, Harish Shankar also tweeted, "We are lodging a police complaint as soon as possible...".
