Popular TV Actress Meghana Lokesh To Make Her Debut In Films

Well known Television actress Meghana Lokesh, who has made a mark with her performance with serials like Sasirekha Parinayam and Kalyana Vaibhogame will be seen in the upcoming film, Idhi Maa Prema Katha. The film is set to release this week. This film marks Meghana’s debut in cinema.

The actress has been paired with famous anchor Ravi in the film. The actress said, “Director Karthik saw my serials and thought that I would be perfect for the role of Sandhya in the film. He approached me and I like the script”. The actress had earlier worked as a theatre artiste in a group called Natana.

 Since childhood, she has been involved in acting and theatre. She revealed, “My first play was when I was eight years old and then I performed nearly 270 shows till my degree”. Meghana also revealed that she is the only one from her family to venture into films. Belonging to Mysuru, the actress said that she got this opportunity because of her theatrical background. She has been trained under guru Mandya Ramesh.
